Conan Turns 10!

My baby boy is 10 years old! We had a birthday bash for him at work on Saturday. Oh come on, people - like you've never had a birthday party for your dogs?

Anyway, we had cake. The mother-of-all cakes. Auntie Betty bought him this very special cake at Heinen's. The thing had to cost a fortune, but like Betty says "I get a good pension from the airlines."



We also had hot dogs & macaroni salad and chips & dip and pop, but I do not have the pictures to prove it. Just take my word for it.

Conan sat on the counter, like he usually does on Saturdays, and passed out birthday treats of Cracker Jack and peanuts.

A fun time was had by all. Conan even got a few presents! Mrs. Larsen next door brought over a container of turkey which he absolutely loved. A customer brought him a pair of light blue jammies which he will wear for the next Hannah-n-Joey-n-Grady sleepover, and a "Forever Friends" medallion to wear on his collar. Another one of his fans brought him a card with $5 in it. He plans to buy a new outfit with the money.

And no, there's no cake left. Sorry!
